I took back my old Neutrogena soaps (one that was the original and one was acne so the ECB didn't print b/c Acne wouldn't work) and asked for a refund from the manager last Saturday. He asked why and I just said that it was a great money maker for ECB and that I had to have 2 of the black label soaps. He said, okay, we'll return these 2 and then just scan the black one twice. Then you can have the ones you bought back and you'll get the ECB. Easiest manager ever. I know how lucky I am. So the deal when I bought the neutrogena is now a $12 moneymaker :)

I don't have a picture because I took all the Stayfree to my church to be sent to the troops in Afghanistan. I live near an Air Force base that has a Rescue team deployed and the moms that have children over there are asking for us to contribute. I have so many Stayfree that it made sense.

I guess I'm getting into a Walgreens frenzy. Once you figure out the coupon order and some of the more basic rules, it gets easier to make a profit for sure. I"m trying to boost my Rebate Gift Card amount for Feb so yesterday I went for the rebate items to the store I never go to, which is closest to my house (I know, I know). Well, they had what I had coupons for, except the Revlon stuff, which is sold out almost everywhere.

I hit the shopping hard because I was on vacation in Savannah last month with my mom, best friend, and her mom.
We had a great time, but hounding had to be done yesterday. So I drove the "long" way home to hit 2 CVS and 1 Walgreens before I went to work-out.
I did quite well. This was one of the first trips I made to Walgreens, after I tried many months ago to make it profitable. I think I found a cashier that will make my life easier, not
harder. She was wonderful, asking about whether I had the correct coupons, and if I found everything. She showed me where the Gillette Gamer razors are and was very nice. She coupons too and I showed her my coupon binder. Good grief, it is huge, she said. Hahaha, she has no idea!

See the 3 posts below to see the deals I had at each store. Thanks! And don't forget to comment! I read them all :)

Returns

I finally looked more closely at the free movie ticket offer that Frugalsuz discusses here. The lipglosses I bought this week (4) are not on the list, so I decided to return for the $16 it cost. Hurrah returns, and keeping receipts.

Donations for my Church

Our church has a food pantry, so I finally cleaned out my pantry to donate food. This is what ended up going...it was Souper Bowl Sunday as well, so the 5th and 6th graders got to count my soup donation in their total. Our church is near Patrick AFB as well, so the mother-in-law of a soldier in the Air Force 90th Rescue from Patrick was collecting toiletries. How perfect! I have so many...so here is what I donated. They were limited on what to donate so this is what i had from their list.
