Note: After a long wait, I finally got my Colgate Travel Bag with travel sized Colgate-Palmolive items and coupons. I first got a letter stating I didn't do the offer correctly because I didn't have UPCs. Well, I did have the UPCs written on the receipt and wrote them back about how terrible it is not to get what was promised. I had no idea if I would ever get the travel bag, but I did :) Yippie!

2 Shuttles on the Pads

On Friday, Tommy & I drove to Playalinda Beach, FL, near the Cape Canaveral National Seashore to get as close to the two shuttles as possible. The next launch is May 12th, or possibly May 11th at 2:01 pm, and the mission is to do a final service for the Hubble Space Telescope. Since the Hubble is in a completely different orbit than the International Space Station, NASA keeps another shuttle and crew at the ready while they are in orbit for emergency preparedness. Normally the shuttle could reach the ISS for safety or use it in the event they needed a lifeboat.

Shampoo anyone?? Seriously? Perhaps I should start another Sally Beauty Supply...Anyways, my favorite CVS cashier is amazing. Tonight I had no IDEA they would have all this stock at my STORE! Yes, I did all this at one store. They love it b/c I make so many sales for them. But, I hadn't printed enough coupons. So what did she do? She let me reuse the ones I had so I could get the deal, then I went home afterwards and printed the extras and brought them to her. I love, love, love this store! I wouldn't have ever asked any other cashier, but this is why it pays to know people by name, greet them, ask how they are doing, find out about their kids, and give them Christmas presents!

Trip to NH

I had to go to New Hampshire but plane tickets were so expensive that we drove straight through (1350 miles one way - which is 21 hours, 45 minutes...I might add). So we got in this morning. However, before I took a nap, I did go to WAGs. Hahaha. I got 3 chapsticks, 3 scuncis, and did a unilever deal one time because they had 4 travel deoderants. No problems to report. I'll post my CVS and WAG deal for the week at some point.

Have a great week!

Last Weekend

We really had a great time. My in-laws were visiting, we put the boat in, bought an area rug for the living room, colored eggs with some friends who visited all day Friday, saw a rocket launch Friday night, and went fishing Saturday and Sunday. I even had a softball game to play Friday as well. Here are some snapshots.
